Retraction, Correction and Expression of Concern Policy

IJDTDE is committed to preserving the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When errors, ethical concerns, or reliability issues are identified before or after publication, the journal will take appropriate editorial action according to the nature and severity of the issue.

Corrections

Corrections may be published when an error affects the interpretation, indexing, metadata, attribution, or reliability of part of an article but does not invalidate the main findings. Corrections are linked to the original article and should clearly describe the change.

Retractions

An article may be retracted when its findings are unreliable, when there is evidence of misconduct or serious error, when the work is plagiarized, when it reports unethical research, when it has been published elsewhere without appropriate disclosure, or when legal or ethical issues require removal from the active scholarly record.

Expressions of concern

An expression of concern may be published when serious concerns exist but the available evidence is inconclusive, an investigation is ongoing, or relevant information is not yet available.

Article record

Retraction, correction, and expression-of-concern notices should be clearly identified, dated, linked to the affected article, and included in the journal record. The original article should normally remain accessible with clear labeling, unless removal is required for legal, privacy, safety, or ethical reasons.

Responsibility for notification

Authors, readers, reviewers, editors, institutions, and third parties may notify the journal of possible errors or integrity concerns. The journal will assess the concern and may request additional information before deciding on the appropriate action.
