Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

IJDTDE is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, research integrity, transparency, and accountability. Authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher are expected to act honestly, responsibly, and in accordance with accepted scholarly publishing principles. The journal is committed to following the COPE Core Practices and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. These standards guide the journal's policies and case handling; this statement does not represent or imply COPE membership.

Author responsibilities

Authors must submit original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal, unless this is clearly disclosed and permitted by the journal.

Authors must ensure that all data, methods, analyses, figures, tables, and conclusions are accurate, honestly reported, and appropriately documented.

All individuals listed as authors must have made a meaningful scholarly contribution and must approve the submitted and final versions of the manuscript.

All sources, prior work, data, software, images, and third-party materials must be cited and used with appropriate permission where required.

Authors must disclose conflicts of interest, funding sources, ethics approvals where applicable, and any relevant use of AI or AI-assisted tools.

Unacceptable practices

• Plagiarism, including unattributed copying, close paraphrasing, or misuse of others' ideas.
• Data fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or selective reporting that misrepresents the research.
• Image manipulation that changes the interpretation of results.
• Duplicate, redundant, or salami publication without transparent disclosure.
• Guest, gift, honorary, or ghost authorship.
• Undisclosed conflicts of interest.
• Manipulation of the peer-review process.

Reviewer responsibilities

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely assessments. They must not use unpublished material for personal advantage, must not share manuscripts with others without editorial permission, and must declare conflicts of interest before accepting a review invitation.

Editor responsibilities

Editors are responsible for fair manuscript handling, appropriate reviewer selection, conflict-of-interest management, confidentiality, timely decision-making, and safeguarding the integrity of the scholarly record.

Publisher responsibilities

ESN Publishing (European Scientific Network Publishing), a scholarly publishing brand operated by Innovasphere Ltd, supports editorial independence, maintains the publishing platform, preserves published content, and cooperates with editors in addressing corrections, retractions, complaints, and ethical concerns.

Ethics concerns

Allegations of misconduct or ethical concerns may be raised before or after publication. The journal will assess such concerns carefully and may request information from authors, reviewers, editors, institutions, or other relevant parties. Outcomes may include correction, expression of concern, retraction, rejection, or other appropriate editorial action.

Concerns are documented and handled confidentially, consistently, and without retaliation against a person who raises a concern in good faith. The journal may consult relevant COPE guidance and flowcharts while applying its own published policies and ensuring that affected parties have an appropriate opportunity to respond.
